“Prayer for Japan” Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Benefit Concert

In the wake of the most recent devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, two of Victoria’s foremost Japanese musicians, Victoria Symphony percussionist Masako Hockey (Marimba) and Satomi Edwards (Koto - Japanese Harp) will be presenting a charity benefit concert this Sunday, March 20,  2011 at 2:00 PM at Sands Funeral Chapel & Reception Centre, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria.
 
A reception with coffee and tea will follow the concert. The requested minimum donation for this event is$15.00.
 
100% of all proceeds will go to the Canadian Red Cross to aid their ongoing efforts to support those affected by this incredibly devastating tragedy.
