As mentioned in the January newsletter, we are honoured to welcome a delegation to Victoria from Morioka and Ootsuchi Junior High School (featuring Misaki Usuzawa).

Please note that the venue for this event has been changed to Christ Church Cathedral where all 11 Creative Peace Murals will still be on display as it has been extended into early March.

Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE concert and Japanese entertainment and reception. Please wear your Support Japan 2011 Gambare Nippon T-shirt.

The Morioka/Ootsuchi delegation is visiting Victoria to express their deep appreciation to the City of Victoria, the Victoria Morioka Friendship Society and the Victoria Nikkei Cultural Society for the support and aid provided since the Great Disaster in 2011. The City of Morioka has been twinned with the City of Victoria for 27 years.
