Support your society and attend the VNCS AGM on Sunday, February 5, 2011 at the Esquimalt Rec Centre. Proceedings begin at 10 am followed by a short lunch break at 11:30 am. From 12:00—13:30 pm we will have a special presentation.
10:00 – 11:30 – Annual General Meeting (Reports, Election of Board etc)
11:30 – 12:00 – Lunch Break – BYOB (Bring Your Own Bento)
12:00 – 12:45 – Presentation and Q &A by Patti Kagawa on her book “From Sea to Shining Sea”
From Sea to Shining Sea — One woman’s cycle trip across Canada from Mile 0 in British Columbia to Mile 0 in Newfoundland. Join Patti as she describes the joys and tribulations of her three month cycling trip across Canada at age 52.
Patti is a forester working for the provincial government, wife and mother of 2 university students. She plays underwater hockey and currently cycles about 15 km to and from work each day.
