VNCS Annual General Meeting

The VNCS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year in late January or early February. The format has reports from each of the key areas that the board oversees (e.g.: events, grants, newsletter, website etc.) followed by any special business and finally election of the board of directors for the new year. Following the AGM there is usually a special presentation during the lunch hour. Some of the past presentations have included: Trevor Absolom speaking on the Samurai traditions of the Soma Noma Oi and the AGM prior to that was Linda Kawamoto Reid from the Japanese Canadian National Museum presenting on how to research your family roots.
