Bonsai is a Japanese art form using miniature trees grown in containers. The Vancouver Island Bonsai Society is an integral part of the annual VNCS Japanese Cultural Fair.

Victoria is home to a very active bonsai group known as the Vancouver Island Bonsai Society. It is a learning centered group who would like as many people as possible to enjoy and partake in the Bonsai hobby.
