The National Association of Japanese Canadians (https://najc.ca/) makes Endowment Funds (https://najc.ca/endowment-fund-overview/) available via its Cultural Development (https://najc.ca/cultural-development/) and Sports, Education, Arts Development (https://najc.ca/sead-program/) Programmes. A letter of recommendation by a NAJC member organization must be included with the application. The deadline for submissions to the NAJC is March 31st.
Requests to the VNCS for a letter of recommendation to support an NAJC application must be submitted to the VNCS by January 31st in order to allow for enough time to review the request and draft a letter of recommendation (where applicable) and have it approved by the VNCS Board of Directors (the board meets the first Sunday of each month). Letters of recommendation will only be given for projects that align closely with the mandate of the VNCS (About the VNCS).
