The annual lantern ceremony, marking the 66th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan will be held at Craigflower Park / Kosapsom at Admiral’s Road and Gorge Road, West Saanich. Bring a blanket and/or chair to sit on.

Lantern making starts at 7:30pm, with words and songs of peace at 8:00pm, followed by floating the lanterns in the Gorge. Latterns with battery candles may be placed on the lawn.

(Bring a blanket &/or chair to sit on and a battery candle if you wish. Floating lantern supplies will be provided.)
