The VNCS is happy to announce the return of the Tanabata Family Picnic. On Saturday, July 5th at 11:30am we’ll gather at the Esquimalt Gorge Park (beside the Pavilion). VNCS members are invited to RSVP to nikkeiheritage@vncs.ca so we know how much tanzaku, kakigori etc. to prepare for. Folks should bring their own bentos, camping chairs, sunscreen etc. We’ve provide the refreshments and activities. Come and hang out, get to know more about the Society, what we’ve got going on, and ways for you to participate. Wear your yukata!
